NGC 7814
NGC 7814 (C43) is a nearly edge-on, type-Sb or type-SO spiral galaxy in the constellation Pegasus. It has an equatorial dust lane visible in this image and the galaxy is estimated to be at a distance of 50 million light years.
This image is a stacked composite of 58, 15-second images obtained on 7 August 1999.
