M64 - Black-Eye Galaxy
This galaxy with a prominent dusty lane is located in the constellation Coma Berenices. It is also known as the Sleeping Beauty Galaxy. See the Messier Index - M64 for more information and images. The image is a 19-minute composite of 12, 15-second subexposures from 1 July 1997 along with 48, 20-second subexposures from 6 July 1997.
