The above image is the Lunar Eclipse of 20 February 2008. The very large crater on the right side center of the Moon is Tycho.
This digital image was obtained with a Nikon D70 DSLR camera at the Prime Focus of a William Optics FLT110 4" f/7 refractor telescope. The image is a stack of five 2-sec exposures, post-processed in Paintshop Pro Photo.
